Logline: A shy and nonchalant spoken-word poet finds himself in a European singing reality show, The One. Understanding the complexity of the situation, he begs the audience to vote him out of the game, only to find out he’s more and more popular. But as the show progresses, the audience finds his secrets and the game is not what it seemed to be at first.

Arthur

Arthur, late 20s, a wannabe spoken word artist. Shy, nonchalant, not always at ease in social gatherings. He is committed to his craft and dreams and has high ethical standards. He gets stuck in the singing competition alongside younger competitors, without the dancing and singing skills.
 

Elena

Elena, early 20s, Latina. Elena is a beautiful, energetic and temperamental ex-child star. Her career slowly faded away, making her manager, putting so much pressure on her. She’s ready to do everything to win, but the shell she created of perfectionism and commitment hides a very insecure woman.
Requires dancing and singing skills.
 

Marcus

Marcus, mid 20s. Marcus is a handsome singer and dancer and participant of the competition. Behind the toughness he shows to his millions of followers on social media, he’s a nice and gentle guy with a strong empathy. He has been asked to participate, and he’s the one trapping Arthur to participate in the show, officially to help him out.

Mary

Mary, early 20s, is a competitor in the singing competition. Classical singer, she’s guided by her faith and devotion to God.

Roxanna

Roxanna, early 30s is Arthur’s friend and owner of the theater group he works for. She’s unapologeticly honest, but a loyal friend. One-liner fan, she knows where and when to speak. Constant support for Arthur, she’s organizing the resistance outside of the game.
 

Natacha

Natacha, 30s, math genius. She feels safer hidden in her office eating candies than appearing publicly. She is the data analyst of the show and reports all the data on daily basis to the candidates and management of Osiris. She’s taking all the decisions related to the game, according to the audiences results.
 

Argentino

Argentino, 40s, is the host of the show. A colorful character, animating the game. He is the Natacha’s armed wing.
